AUGUST 2020
ANNUAL MEETING AND ELECTION: All homeowners should have just received a candidate registration form. Although our annual meeting isn’t until November, this year the election process must begin early due to passage of SB323. This law required a revision of our Membership Meeting and Voting Rules, which was mailed to members in February. It also specifies a very strict timeline which must be adhered to, and many details which must be followed exactly. Due to the logistics involved, the Board, at the July meeting, approved the hiring of a professional company, The Ballot Box, to run the election. Look for all election materials to be coming from them. Please read everything carefully, and follow all directions. We want to have a successful meeting and election. Future newsletters and announcements on the website will remind members of upcoming deadlines.
LANDSCAPING: The hedge trimming that was supposed to be completed by the end of June, took longer than expected, but is being completed as we write. The committee continues to look at areas within the community that need attention. The walk-thru takes place on the 3rd Friday of the month. If you have a concern or request regarding landscaping, Please email the management company.
ASSOCIATION POOL: We were able to open the pool at the beginning of July, which was a bit of good news to balance the not-so-good news about Covid-19 we’re hearing every day. If you haven’t been to the pool yet, remember, it is very important to read and follow all the rules posted on the gates. So far our members are doing a great job. We want to be sure the pool can stay open as we head into the warmest months of the year.
GENERAL INFORMATION: Welcome to new owners in our community! For you, and anyone else who may not know…
